We are happy to announce that mobile communications company Nokia has confirmed its sponsorship of the BAKE Kenyan Blog Awards, the annual award that recognizes excellence amongst bloggers.
Nokia is sponsoring the “Best New Blog” category. The category seeks to reward outstanding new blogs that were set up from January 24th 2012 to the closing date of nominations.
Making the announcement, Nokia General Manager for East Africa, Bruce Howe, said the sponsorship is aligned to the launch of the Nokia Lumia range in Kenya. “We believe Nokia Lumia offers the best new smartphone experience on the market, so it seemed fitting to sponsor the Best New blog category at this year’s awards. We also feel strongly that blogging is an important tool for promoting sharing of information, innovation and ideas which is key in stimulating growth, especially within the mobile technology sector
